Missionary Sister of the Precious Blood, died peacefully at Mariann Nursing Home, Richmond Hill, on March 28, 2016 in her 92nd year. She is the daughter of the late James and Agnes Johnson: and she is survived by her brother Father Francis Johnson, S.J. She will be sadly missed by her fellow sisters, friends and benefactors. Sister Josephine worked in Canada, United States and Africa as a missionary. Visitation at St. Bernard’s Convent, 685 Finch Avenue West, Wednesday, March 30, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. will be a celebration of her life dedication to pastoral care in the hospitals and those home bound. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in support of the work of the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood.
