Teresa Mary Quigley

Teresa Mary Died peacefully January 24, 2009 at the age of 80 in the care of the wonderful palliative care team at North York General Hospital after a courageous struggle with cancer. Wife of the late Thomas Quigley and mother of the late Susan Quigley. Survived by her son Peter Quigley, his wife Kelly, grandchildren Mark and Adam; her daughter Kathleen Tribe, her husband Kevin and grandchildren Laura, Eric and Alex. Her brother John Sauve, his wife Betty; her sister-in-law Kay Sauve wife of the late Reg Sauve; extended family member Terri Mason and husband David ; many close nieces, nephews and hundreds of wonderful friends. Teresa was a special person who brought warmth, kindness and love to all of those she met and adopted into her circle. She had a love of music and cherished her friends in the St. Bonaventure's Choir(30 years) and Serenata singers(15 years). Her endless energy and love for life will be missed by all of those who had the benefit of meeting her and we know she'd ask you to raise a glass of wine to toast her memory. Friends may call on Monday, January 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church(1300 Leslie Street). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital-Palliative Care Unit.
