Thang is survived by his spouse, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang; his son Justin Vu.

A visitation will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 3, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3. A committal service will occur Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St., Vaughan, ON L4K 1A7.
