Vera Myrtle Ross went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017 with her family at her bedside. Vera was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1956. She leaves behind her son David Ross, a sister Dorothy Craig and her husband Gilmore, along with many nieces and nephews in Northern Ireland, and her good friend Annie Parrington of Toronto. She was predeceased by her sister Jeannie Lee and her husband Robert. Vera was highly respected by the Christians at Langstaff. She was lovingly cared for by the Doctors and Nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital. Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11am, with visitation from 10am. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens. If desired donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
