April 13, 1924 – November 7, 2016
A curious explorer, lover of wildlife and a fearless entrepreneur, Bud Walters left this life as he lived it, with decisiveness and determination. Following a very brief illness, Bud decided it was time to move on. He said he would wait a little while, then be reborn into a wonderful new life. Our love and prayers are with Bud on his journey.
Coasting the clouds with Dorothy, his beautiful wife, Bud and Dorothy will always look down on and protect the ones they left behind, daughters Debbie, Julie and Wendy, as well as his two cherished granddaughters Clarice and Collette Baksi and brother Wardell Walters and caregiver and good friend Wendy Pryor. Daughter-in-law Annie Auchterlonie and sons-in-law Gary Baksi and Gerry Frascione were made richer by his wisdom, as were we all and we will miss him very much.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by a closed casket service at 11 a.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Toronto. Burial will follow the service at Pine Orchard Friends Cemetery close to where Bud lived in Cedar Valley, Newmarket.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Wildlife Centre. Condolences may be left at www.rskane.ca
