William Goubrial Bishay

It is with profound sadness and a great sense of loss that we announce the passing of William Bishay while visiting family in Egypt. He lived a full and happy life surrounded by family and friends and was loved, adored and respected by all who knew him, he was an inspiration to us all. He leaves behind him a legacy of love, loyalty, generosity and humour. Loving husband of 62 years to his wife Nadia, loving father to Hedy, Theresa (Wes), Azza (Ray), and Magda. Remembered by his loving grandchildren Kevin, Nancy, Matthew and Elizabeth. Loved and adored by family in Egypt. Donations may be made to the SickKids Foundation or The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14th from 5-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, November 15th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, 455 Ferrier Street, Markham. Interment York Cemetery.
