Bob died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, October 28, 2011 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Joyce (Labrecque) for 53 years and dear father to Cathy (Jody Ellis) of Thornhill and Barry (Paula Soares-Carson) of Delaware Ontario. Survived by his brother George from Nova Scotia and cherished grandchildren Caitlin, Grant, Michael, Christopher, Andy and David. Bob retired from the Metropolitan Toronto Police Department in 1980 (53 Division). Friends and family may visit from 2-3pm on Saturday, November 5, 2011 followed by a memorial service at 3pm in the chapel at R.S. Kane Funeral Home at 6150 Yonge Street just south of Steeles Ave. In lieu of flowers Donations to a charity of your choice.
