Peacefully, on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at North York General Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Loving father of Warren (Joanne), Audrey, Mark (Terry), Brian (Libby) and George. Cherished grandfather to Ryan (Maegan), Sarah, Matthew, Lisa, Chloe, Krista, Shelby, Simon, Rose and great-grandfather to Brooklynn. Survived by his sisters-in-law Peggy Taylor, Amy Grills, Margaret Taylor and brother-in-law Charlie Taylor. Bill will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends at Delmanor. Friends may visit on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 3 p.m. Cremation. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
