She was born on October 2, 1940, in Lima, Peru, to Kunimori and Fusaki Beppu. Agustina was the only girl among four children. She is survived by her brother Hiroshi. She was known for her warm heart and creativity.
Agustina was fluent in four languages—Spanish, English, French, and Japanese—something she was proud of and that reflected in her curiosity and love for learning.
She married Masato Sakaguchi in 1986 and moved to Colorado from Lima Peru. She became a citizen in 2022 and was very proud of passing the test. Agustina was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She loved knitting, crafts, and monthly trips to Black Hawk, where she enjoyed gambling and having fun.
Agustina will be remembered for her kind spirit, sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed.
