

Allan passed away peacefully in Northglenn, Colorado on February 28, 2024.
In his formative years, Allan was a brother and son of an US Air Force family which moved often. He lived abroad in Spain, stateside in New Hampshire, and eventually lived and attended school in Alaska. This is where he developed his love for the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He loved doing these activities with family and friends. Alaska held a special place in his heart.
During Allan’s senior year of high school, his family moved to Colorado, where he graduated as part of the first class of Northglenn High School in 1967. Allan’s had several careers throughout is life, Gardner-Denver as a machinist, professional mover, and seasonal work for the National Western Stock Show.
Allan had two sons, Tom and Tim. They were born in Colorado and grew up to enjoy the outdoor life like their father. He was known as a loving father, dedicated teacher and always lending a hand to those who needed it.
Allan’s (Tom’s) siblings are Susan McKinzie, John (Smoky) Teer, Nancy Thomas (husband-Ernest Thomas), Holly Hirst, Shelley Stewart (husband-Tim Stewart), and Terry Teer, his son Thomas Teer (wife-Shannon Teer) and his longtime partner Tammy George
Allan is preceded in death by his cherished son, Tim, his parents, and his brother, John (Smoky).
In lieu of flowers, the Teer family respectfully requests donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (https://parkinsonrockies.org/) in honor and remembrance of Allan. These donations improve care and advance research towards a cure.
The commemoration of Allan’s life will take place on March 14, 2024 at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
All are welcome to attend some or all the day events.
• Viewing and celebration of life will be from 10-12
• Formal service will be held from 12-1
• Burial at 1pm.
