

Born March 3, 1934 to William Fay & Lucia Maybelle Myers in Bertrand, Nebraska.
Passed from this earth to meet her Heavenly Father on April 8, 2017 at the age of 83.
At the time of her passing Barbara was a resident of Inglenook at Brighton in Brighton, Colorado. While living there she made several new friends and enjoyed many visits from family and other friends.
Barbara and her husband Bob were married on Aug. 27, 1954 in Lakewood, Colorado. They spent all of their lives together living in Colorado, starting out in Denver, moving to Lakewood and then to Grand Junction, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert “Bob” Kilgroe.
She is survived by three sisters-Shirley Jerome, Lakewood, CO, Anita Orr, Brighton, CO, and Wanda Colm, Commerce City, CO Three children Frances “Fran” (Richard “Randy”) Miner, Johnstown, CO, Richard (Rose) Kilgroe, Grand Junction, CO, Marjorie”Margie” (Kent) Wagner, Lakewood, CO, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Barbara completed nurses training in 1953. She spent 15 years working for Jeffco Schools as a food service manager and helped provide many meals for school children. The remainder of her life she was a homemaker.
She loved her family and enjoyed making cookies, breads, jellies and apple butter for them. Anyone who visited her could always count on her having a cookie for them. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and did a lot of volunteer work in the churches that she attended. She was a born again Christian and loved the Lord. She started each morning reading her Bible devotions and praying for others in need. She is passing on a wonderful Christian heritage and she will be greatly missed.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 12:00 pm. The location will be Grace Community Church, 240 Barberry Place, Loveland, CO 80537. A light lunch will follow.
