89, was born March 2, 1927 in Longmont, Colorado. She was preceded in death by: her husband Linn A. Pickett, parents Jim and Ethel Huffman, sisters Gladys Thorne, Dorothy Spallinger, brothers Willard, Delton, and James Huffman. Betty is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Betty was employed at Gates Rubber Corporation for 35 years; retiring in 1982. Betty enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, and traveling. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Denver Rescue Mission, Volunteers of America, or the Dumb Friends League.
Visitation is to be held on March 24, 2016 from 4-7pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary located at 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229. No funeral services are to be held.
