Beulah and her sister, Leona, moved to Denver, CO at a young age where she met Gene Lammey. Gene and Beulah married on July 16, 1941. They had their first daughter Bonnie in March 1943. Soon after Bonnie's birth they moved to Otis, CO to a farm where their second daughter Gail was born in August 1944. They stayed on the farm for about eight years before they returned to Derby, CO where they built their home.
Beulah worked at Jepson and Pepsi. However, most of her life was spent as a homemaker.
Beulah and Gene loved traveling in their younger days. Some of their travel destinations include Hawaii, Texas and Missouri. Beulah loved her flowers. Her yard was so beautiful. She put many hours and endless love into it. She loved to go camping and fishing. Beulah loved sewing. She always had Gene lookin' sharp! Beulah loved cooking big dinners for family and friends. Some unforgettable meals she made was her stew, home made bread, jello salads containing things such as stewed tomatoes, mayo, carrots, apples and pineapple. Not all together but combos you would never imagine and they were very tasty! Don't forget dessert, home made cake, pie, oatmeal raisin cookies, Billygoat cookies and coffee. Also, you could always find a bowl of popcorn on the counter, cookies in the bread box and a full candy dish.
The love of Beulah's life was her grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandson.
RIP Beautiful Beulah you will be missed by many.
