Connie Patterson, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025. She will forever be remembered as an incredibly strong woman, a devoted mother, proud grandmother, loyal dog-mom, and a cherished friend to those who knew her.
Born on August 6, 1937, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Harry and Dorothy Webb, Connie grew up with a strong sense of family, and love that carried throughout her life. She poured her heart into raising her children and later found great joy and pride in watching her family grow through the generations.
Connie had a quiet strength and a warm spirit. She loved the simple joys of life such as cooking meals for her family, tending to her yard, reading a good book, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. Connie loved her pets beyond measure, caring for them as she did her own children. They were her constant companions, bringing her comfort, joy, and unconditional love. To Connie, they were never just pets, but cherished members of her family. Connie’s family always came first, and her love and dedication to them were truly unconditional; always putting their needs before her own. She looked forward with hope to the day she would be reunited with Jesus and her loved ones who passed before her.
Connie is lovingly survived by her son, Greg Patterson; her granddaughters, Carrie Patterson, Kelly Patterson (Leandro Garcia), and Jessie Woods (Tim Woods); her great-grandchildren, Jesse Llanez (Cheyenne Llanez), Jordyn Patterson, and Caleb and Alani Woods; her great-great-grandchildren, Noah Jones, and Oakley Llanez; and her faithful fur baby, Millie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Webb; her sons, Scott Patterson, Richard Patterson, and James Patterson; and her siblings, Keith Webb and Shirley Waddell.
A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Thornton Olinger Funeral Home (10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado), with a reception to follow.
Connie leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
