He was born on May 9th, 1949 in Oklahoma to Doralene Glee Leonard and William Wesley Blackledge . He is survived by his loving children Patricia Broome, Michael Blackledge (Jennifer) as well as Jim Dalton Jr (Patty), Lucille Peterson (Steve) and Josie Dalton. He is also survived by 14 Grandkids and 25 Great Grandkids. He is preceded in death by both his parents, and his children's mothers Lou McClellen, Katherine Stroud and Mabel Maestas.
David was a very kind hearted man who loved deeply. He also loved his music and his sweets.
