“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms….. I am going there to prepare a place for you.”
Devoting 30 years as a first responder, a liaison for his community, a high school DARE teacher, and academy training officer forever serving with kindness and dedication.
A true outdoorsman, he found peace and purpose in the woods. As a hunter, he was at home in nature - patient, watchful, and deeply connected to the world around him. He passed not only his skills, but also a reverence for the land and the value of hard, honest living.
More than anything, he was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him- joyful, steady, and full of heart and humor. His laughter was infectious, his hugs reassuring, his love of life enduring and his many lessons timeless. He was the light to everyone’s darkness and was truly our greatest champion.
He leaves behind countless memories, a legacy of love and righteousness. We will miss him deeply and we will always honor him by living as he taught us with love, joy, strength and integrity.
The impact he leaves behind will stand tall for eternity.
