Condolences to Dave's family. I remember Dave as an upperclassman and athlete at MHHS. For obvious reasons we called each other "brothers".

Remembrances of his stories and jokes; with a foot on the brass rail, a pint of Old Speckled Hen in hand, talking of politics, history, and books. Looking forward to the next day at the tradeshow. That's how I'll always remember Dave.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

I worked with Dave for a number of years and always enjoyed our encounters which invariably began with his latest joke.  A shrewd, hard-working entrepeneur, he taught me a lot about international business.  Sayonara, Dave.

I was very blessed to know and spend time with Dave. He helped and guided me in becoming a grandfather. He made anywhere is was a brighter place to be! Dave will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I wanted to give my families deepest condolences. Dave worked with my mother at Coos years ago and my brother and Matt were best friends in high school and remained feiends until his death. It was great to hear about what a wonderful life and family he had. He had the best sense of humor which Matt carries on.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire family.  I was so saddened to see this.  Going through the photos brought back a lot of memories and the wonderful life we had on Locust Place. I am going to miss all of our debates and philosophic  and political discussions via email. I will always remember that Dave and I grew up on the same block as part of the first families to populate Thornton...but most of all..that Dave caught my first and only touchdown pass on a fake punk against Fairview HS.  Man he was a swizzle hipped runner and a tremendous competitor.  I will miss him so much Eleanor...you take care.

We were so blessed to have Dave be a part of our lives.  From the start he always made us feel like family and his knowledge and wisdom were a precious gift.  I will miss his jokes and stories an kindness and compassion more than I can express here.  All of my love and sympathies go out to Eleanor, little Matt, big Matt and Tony and all of the grandchildren and family.

To the entire Chandler family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Dave will be missed by many, but the good memories are with you for a lifetime.  Mike & Skeeter Wilson.

To Eleanor and family of Dave Chandler, I wish to express my deepest sympathies.  We were classmates back in 1961 but never kept in touch except at high school reunions.  I have a lot of memories though.  I'll always remember Dave as a cordial person, great student leader and athlete.  Being a 'jock' (and a good student) he was always a nice guy to the rest of us.  His likeable and outgoing personality shined at our class reunions.  Without a doubt, all of us will miss seeing him at future functions and I'm sure this planet will not be the same without him.

My memories of Dave go way back when Hellen would let me wrap Dave and Jons Christmas gifts, did it for years, His family are in our prayers "RIP"

I went to High School with Dave and enjoyed quite a few reunions with he and Eleanor.  He was a special guy and even though we didn't see each other for years at a time he was always so warm and fun.  It seemed as though the years just melted away when we talked.  He was a thoughtful and loving man and I'm glad I knew him.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
