Dianna Angelo, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2026. She was born on July 31, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, where she began a life marked by compassion, service, and a deep love for others.
Dianna dedicated much of her professional life to caring for people. She worked for many years as a paramedic, serving her community with skill, courage, and heart, before later transitioning into a career in pharmaceuticals. Her commitment to helping others never wavered, no matter the role she held.
Dianna never met a stranger—she had a way of connecting with people instantly, making even the shortest interaction feel meaningful and sincere.
Outside of work, Dianna found joy in life’s simple comforts—especially a good cup of coffee and the companionship of animals. She will be most remembered for her unwavering love for dogs, frequently opening her home to those in need and loving each one as if they were her own.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Una and Buzz Hawley. She is survived by her three sisters, Susie, Sandy, and Debbie (Steve); her three children, Teresa (Branden), Jakob (Brooke), and Nick (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Gabby, Crystal, Lexi, Cadence, Jeramiah, Kimberlynn, Greyson, and Jameson; and her great-granddaughter, Ellie.
A celebration of life will be held in the coming months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dianna’s name to the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, in recognition of her personal journey with diabetes and in honor of her lifelong legacy of care and compassion for others.
