

Dolores "Lola" Blea, age 81, of Denver, Colorado passed away, peacefully in her home and surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, November 30, 2020. Dolores was born March 27, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Mary and Pete Barrientos. She was the 3rd of 7 siblings--Mary, Alex, Isidra, Margaret, Rita and Ofelia. Dolores was very proud of her Apache Indian background and a devoted Jehovah's Witness.
She met her Husband, Samuel Blea Jr., by tagging along with her Brother, Alex, on a date with her Husband's Sister. They were married on December 29, 1956 and were married for 61 years. They had a special and cherished marriage through the love they had for each other. Together they built a family with strong family values and morals. They raised 6 children--the late Alfred Blea, Salvador, Stephen (Raylene), Diana (Anthony), Sonya (late husband John), and Sean (Cari); as well as numerous Grandchildren--Giovanni, Pia (Angel), Alexis (Gabriel), Darius (Sydny), Tyrone (Sonya), Chris (Jessica), Angy, Shiloh (Jason), Tonya (Jamie), Abe (Cherilyn), Gina (Mike), Alfred (Rosita), and Nicole. She was a Great Grandmother and a Great Great Grandmother to many others.
Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading her Bible, and Shopping. Her favorite poem being Psalms 23. She also loved to dance and sing.
Dolores had a contagious laugh, a beautiful smile and a kind heart. She will be remembered as a loving, generous, nurturing and amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was devoted to her husband, her family, and her faith.
