Donald Roger Starrett was born on August 31, 1943 in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota to parents Raymond C. Starrett and Beulah I. Smith. He graduated from Buffalo Lake High School in 1961. He married Janet (Jane) Cady in Hector, Minnesota in 1963. In 1974 Don and Jane, Troy, Michelle and Brent moved to Denver, Colorado. Don was employed in the Solid Waste Industry for 35 years. He passed away on April 26, 2010 in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Janet R. (Jane Cady) Starrett; children, Michelle Coulter (Craig Dies) and Brent (Holly) Starrett; grandchildren, Krista Coulter and Justin & Madison Starrett; sister Donna Kalkbrenner (Don), brothers, Douglas (Sharon)Starrett and Michael (Gladys) Starrett; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Troy Donald. A loving and caring man who will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Visitation is Sunday, 12PM to 5PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, Thornton, Colorado. Funeral Service is Monday, 10:30AM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Northglenn, Colorado.
