Donna Dene Crosby was born on February 21, 1931 in Oconto, Nebraska to Maurice and Marie Curlile. She was the 3rd of 6 children. Donna grew up on farms in Nebraska. She graduated from Ansley High School and after graduating she drove an 18-wheeler and a gas transport. Donna married Robert O. Chaney and they had three children: Rickie Lee, Sandra Kay, and Robert Dean. She was employed by Martin Marietta for 5 years and worked on the Titan Missile program. After that she worked for IBM and retired after 25 years of service. Donna met her future husband, Ronnie E. Crosby, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where Bob and Ron’s wife were battling cancer. The four of them became friends during that time. Both Bob and Ron’s wife passed away. A year later, Donna and Ron were married, adding two more children, a second Robert Dean and Tracey Jolene. Donna started attending Faith Bible Chapel in 1972 and served in the leadership team and other areas of helps ministry until passing. Donna always reminded her family and friends that “The greatest thing that ever happened to me is when Jesus came into my life, forgave me of all of my sins and promised me eternal life. I hope you all know him too”. Donna is survived by her husband, her 5 children and their spouses, and 12 grandchildren (with spouses) and 10 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christians United for Israel. (www.cufi.org)
