78, passed away quietly at home on Sunday, May 12. She was born in Cawker City, Kansas in 1934 and given the name Dorothy Marie Hake. In 1956 she married Bill Van Pelt and became Dorothy Van Pelt. In 2000 she married Donald Lewis and became Dorothy Lewis. She is survived by her loving husband, Don; brother, Matthew Hake; sister, Mildred Bachofer; Step daughters, Dawn Walsh, Kari Stock and Jennifer Lewis; stepsons, Craig and Sean Lewis; step grandsons, Billy Walsh, Shane Walsh, Jared Stock, Dylan Stock and Camden Lewis River Lewis; step granddaughters, Danielle Meier, Jeanette Lewis, Angelica Lewis and Lilienne Lewis as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation, Thursday, 4 – 6 pm at Olinger Highland, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Mass of the Resurrection, Friday, 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO.
