Edna E. Jones

Edna Earl Jones was born on December 2nd, 1945 to the late Maxine Payne and Doc Richardson, Sr. She was raised in the church, and therefore, had a personal relationship with Christ at an early age. This relationship lead to her being a loving, caring, compassionate mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She graduated from George R. Ellis High School, and later, she pursued further studies at a secretarial school in Memphis, TN. The majority of her life encompassed what she held dearest to her heart, which was none other than, raising her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. On the morning of October 14, 2017 in Thornton, CO, God called his precious child home to join Him in Heaven. There, she reunited with her mother, Maxine Payne; her father, Doc Richardson, Sr.; her sister, Melodye Hawkins; and two brothers, Doc Richardson, Jr. and Leroy Jones, III. She leaves to celebrate her life: her children, Gwen, Kaye, Cheryl, Dave Jr. (Tracie), Darren (Keisha), Kelvin (Timeka); seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Mamie (Ronnie), Evelyn (L.C.), Renna (Mary), Theresa (Tyrone), Kathy, Sandra, and

Pamela.
