Esther moved to Colorado and married her second husband Jake Jones. After being widowed, she worked at Clear Creek Nursing Home for many years as a nurses' aide. She enjoyed this very much.
In 2008 Esther fell and was injured and could not return to her home. She then moved to Crossroads Assisted Living Facility. She enjoyed the many activities and other residents and staff.
On October 10, 2014 she passed away after a short stay in the hospital and Clear Creek Nursing Home.
