Eulogio Gomez-Arana, beloved Father, brother and grandfather, passed away silently on July 12, 2024 in Lakewood CO. He was born September 10, 1967, in Cuauhtémoc, México, to the late Juan Gomez Garcia and Ramona Arana Pérez.
Eulogio was 10th of 12 siblings, leaving behind 2 sisters and 7 brothers. He grew up in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, and at the age of 15 moved to be with other siblings in California. Years later he moved to Denver, Colorado and was married. He was blessed with three beautiful children. All together Eulogio raised three sons and two daughters.
Eulogio was joyful, playful and always had a beautiful smile to share. He was a hard-working man that never stopped working and started at a very young age.
He loved to travel and see new places and spent most of his time visiting family in Mexico and other cities.
Family and friends were dear to him. It meant everything to him to be around those he loved and cared for- especially his brothers who loved and cared for him dearly.
Eulogio is survived by a host of family; his loving children, Eulogio Jr, Verónica Yadira, César / Rogelio, and Crystal Esmeralda; his precious grandchildren, Christopher, Raul, Jordan, Maya, Josiah, Elijah, Nehemiah, Isaiah and Nevaeh, as well as many nieces, Nephews and loving friends.
A public viewing will take place 5pm-8pm, Wednesday, July 31, at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton CO 80229. A final viewing and last goodbyes will take place at 9am, Thursday Augusta 1, 2024 at Impacto de Fe 5155 E 64th Ave, Commerce City CO 80022. The Funeral Ceremony will begin at 10:30am, also at the church.
A private burial l will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St. in Thornton.
Celebration of Life for Eulogio Gomez-Arana will be held after burial from 1:30pm-5:00pm at Luna Events, 991 Platte River Blvd, Brighton CO 80601
