Hi Gram, 

I miss you. I think of you often. You would be so proud of Halen. He is a phenomenal jazz guitarist. He goes to a private music and arts high school. He was the only freshman who made honors jazz band. He is incredibly gifted. Wonder who he gets that from ;).

I wonder all the time if you knew mama was coming, or if she showed up and you were surprised to see her. I hope everyone was there to welcome here. We’re all devastated without her. Her life was cut so short. I remember when you passed mom said “ I’ve never felt so alone in the world, the one person who would unconditionally have my back is gone”. I understand that to the fullest now. I’ll have to live without her longer than I knew her. It’s hard to even grasp that. 

I hope you guys are so happy together, catching up and watching over all of us. Hug her so tight for me.

Aunt Flo, It was so wonderful to have you as my aunt!  You always had a great zest for life and will be very missed by all who knew you. I will always remember you with much fondness.

Aunt Flo, I will miss you so much. The fun and laughter were contagious when I was near you. You had such a big heart and knew how to bring out the sunshine in everyone. So many memories, including my first train ride with you and Sandy! Thank you for all your support all those years we spent at nearby hospitals. Jessica was blessed to have you. We love you, and "your boyfriend," Jordan says, "I'll  see you later."

Flo, What an honor it was to have been your friend.  I remember all the walks and talks we used to have at the Central High School track.  We tackled all the troubles of the world and accounts payable.  You will always be my hero.  Kathy Zinter, Aurora, CO

To my beautiful Aunt Flo,  the short time I lived in CO you welcomed me as I settled in.  I remember the power walks we went on and  the home cooked meals I was always invited to.  You showed me your love for dogs that I too have and how each one is special in their own way.  I will miss your enthusiasm, humorous wit and the songs you loved to sing. Hey, Little Sis.  Here we are in Colorado to honor you on the celebration of your life.  It's times like these that one takes the time to reminisce and laugh at the fun times we had together and with countless others.  Enjoyed seeing the photo tribute posted and I thought... what happened in Vegas was supposed to stay in Vegas - you, Sal and I did have fun times.  Growing up in Rosemont, you learned to create your own fun, had three brothers who loved to tease you, and it was the start of your love affair with dogs.  Your life was a nice long one and of course there will always to a void now that you are gone.  Sweet dreams now Little Sister.  ~Florris

This is a sad time and also a good time to reflect...  The word fun is synonymous with Aunt Flo. It was for sure if Aunt Flo was involved you knew it would be a fun time with lots of laughs and many times something crazy would be going on.  She was a kid at heart.  The three loves in her life were Sandy, dogs and singing.  She and Sal were also fun to watch on the dance floor.  About now all those in heaven are enjoying your performance of 'The Nearness of You' and 'Almost Like Being in Love' and all the other songs you loved to sing. I'll always cherish that you sang Happy Birthday to me on the phone.  Be sure and look up Dad.  Love, pattie

Good bye Aunt Flo!  Whenever I hear the song "Pennies from Heaven" I always think of you.  You were quite the lady.  My thoughts are with Sandy, her family, and Sal too.  You will truly be missed.

Thank you Sandy for such a beautiful photo tribute.  There will never be anyone quite like my Aunt Flo!  What a personality!  Although the tears are flowing, I am also smiling as I remember all the fun and laughs we shared.   I have so many great memories and will miss you so much.   You will remain forever in my heart.
