Jacob R. Vallejo

Jacob was born on October 15, 1978, to Aurelio and Elizabeth Vallejo in French Camp, California. After Jacob graduated from high school in 1996, he went on to own an insurance agency with his brother Josue, and study Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. After obtaining his bachelor’s in psychology he followed God’s calling to Colorado where he began working on his Master’s in Theology.

After winning the KLOVE Scholarship and beginning to study at Colorado Christian University he was employed as an enrollment counsellor. Proudly working his way up to Director of Enrollment. Jacob loved working in higher education and motivating perspective students and his team (the JV warriors) to follow God and be the best they possibly could be.

In 2019, Jacob met Christina, and the two were engaged January 13, 2021. Jacob and Christina share five children between them, Ezra, Josefina, Tycen, Aria and Amelia.

Jacob spent his time studying Theology, hanging out with his children and fiancé, enjoying a good craft beer occasionally, and expanding the kingdom of Heaven with every conversation he had. Jacob’s passion outside of his family was uplifting, encouraging, motivating and instilling the word of God into every person he met.

Jacob is survived by Aurelio and Elizabeth Vallejo, Josue and Sujein Vallejo, Lizbeth and David Hogue, Matthew French, Alissa Hogue, Isiah and Joseph Vallejo, Ezra Vallejo, Josefina Vallejo, Christina Cluff, Tycen Cluff, Aria Cluff and Amelia Hewitt.

Services will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO on August 6, 2022, at 10am.
