James Lee Peitsmeyer

James Lee Peitsmeyer, of Northglenn, Colorado, passed away on Saturday 4/16/2022. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, ‘Pa’, and friend. He was born on 2/25/1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Margaret Muhlecke and Jess E. Peitsmeyer.

Jim was married to the love of his life for 43 years. He was the worlds best mechanic that could truly fix anything and taught his sons the same. He loved to spend time outdoors especially hunting trips with his boys. He loved to travel any way that he could, and he always enjoyed a good hockey game or football game - Go Avs! Go Broncos!

Jim is survived by his wife - Patty Petismeyer his daughter Angie Goff (Brent), his 3 sons Jayme Peitsmeyer (Julie), Shawn Spratte (Lana) and Bill Spratte (Laura), his grandchildren Tyler Spratte (Caleigh), Connor Goff , Reynee Goff, Ellie Anaya, Ethan Peitsmeyer, and Logan Peitsmeyer. He is also survived by his older sister Judy Hughes.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday 4/27/2022 at Olinger Highland Mortuary Honor West, located at 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado. Internment will follow at a later date at Fort Logan per his wishes to honor his service to our country.
