Jason was born July 17, 1975, to Mary and Darrell Humphrey in Multnomah, Oregon. Jason later welcomed a little sister, Jessie Humphrey to complete their family. After graduation, Jason proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. He also served 4 years with the Air Force Reserves, during which time Jason and Silvina (Pieper), had their daughter Savannah Humphrey (2000), and later welcomed their son Austin Humphrey (2003). Jason moved his family to Colorado where he then finished his military career of 25 years serving in the United States Army National Guard for over 18 years.
Jason served many positions in his dedicated career as a Deputy Sheriff with the Adams County Sheriff’s office for over 20 years.
Jason was a true patriot and servant to our country and community. A hero with honors consisting of a Purple Heart, Decorated Marksmen, and The Meritorious Service Medal to name a few, his years of service and achievements leave sediment on our hearts.
Upon his retirement from the military Jason became heavily involved as a servant, brother, and mentor with (CVMA) Motorcycle association serving as a state representative. His passion and ability to help and guide veterans was genuine, touching, and rare.
Jason met his wife Danille (Wallis)-Humphrey in 2017, and they spent 7 beautiful, short years together. During this time, he gained his daughter Rhea Jean, adoring every moment he had raising her into the beautiful young lady that she is today.
Jason was a beloved, son, brother, father, husband, uncle, and friend, who is cherished and missed dearly by many. He was a light in the dark to those who needed guidance, love and support, or simply just a warm embrace to help brave the waves of life. As we are left with this soul crushing loss, the wave of support and love that has been received, is a true testament of the impact Jason left on so many lives. Jason lived a wonderful and full 48 years of life, and never missed an opportunity to try something adventurist and new.
