Jesse Ray Scott, 75, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 with his family by his side. Jesse was born August 7,1947 in Sterling, Colorado. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1965, following graduation he attended Trinidad Jr. College on a wrestling scholarship. He was drafted to the U.S. Army in 1967 and served in the Vietnam war. He married JoAnn Sanchez on January 18,1969. Jesse retired from General Motors after 33 years of employment. Besides spending time with his family, he liked doing home improvements around the house and loved to travel. He had a passion for the Denver Broncos, politics and shopping.
Jesse is survived by his wife JoAnn Scott, daughters Denise (Jim) Roth and Liz (James) Rodrock, grandsons, Corey Roth and Evan Rodrock, granddaughters, Jessica (Kris) Scott and Rachel Rodrock, sister Julie (Bobby) Cordova and several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents Jesse Sr. and Fana Scott, brother Bob Scott, sisters Cindy Trujillo and Donna Rios, niece Tammy Cordova and nephews Tommy Scott and Jesse Reyes.
