John J. Kiernan Jr., 78 of Broomfield, CO passed peacefully August 9 th , 2014 at home with his family by his side. Born in Providence, RI, son of the late John J. and Margaret (Kralik) Kiernan, he has resided in Broomfield, CO since 1977. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, his children John J. III (Karen) Kiernan of Arvada, CO; Patrick (Karen) Kiernan of Broomfield, CO; Matthew (Melissa) Kiernan of Brighton, CO; Scott (Misty) Kiernan of Macon, GA; daughter Rene Bosser of Longmont, CO; a sister Rita (Paul) Kavanagh of Providence, RI; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield on Monday August 18 th at 10am. Reception at church immediately following services. -
