

John Edward Meyers Jr born January 1, 1960, passed away peacefully from natural causes on March 11, 2026. John is preceded in death by his wife Denise Gail Meyers who passed far too early in life at age 37 in 1996. His Parents John Edward Meyers, Sr. and Jean Dienes. John is survived by his daughter Lindsey Gail Monse, her husband Mike Monse; son John Edward Meyers III; his sister Kellye Faber, her husband Dale Faber; his niece Ashley Manson, her husband Corrie Manson, and their children Wyatt and Avery Manson.
John graduated from Pomona High School in 1978 where he was a student and athlete. He lettered in both baseball and football, was involved in theater, student council, and DECA. He went on to play football on scholarship at Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS. He later attended University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO where he met his wife Denise.
John built his career with the Charles D. Jones company, earning respect for his knowledge of the HVAC Industry and strong work ethic. In his free time John enjoyed fishing, camping, watching sport, and cheering on the Denver Broncos. He had a lifelong love of music.
John spent his final years in Colorado Springs, CO enjoying retirement. He loved spending time with those he cherished most and that he proudly called “his most prized possessions” his children Lindsey and John III. John will be remembered for his strong love of family, his loyalty to those close to him (and the Denver Broncos), as well as the many moments of laughter, music, and memories he shared with those who knew him.
John will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Denise. An intimate family gravesite service is planned and a celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
