John Setzer, age 80, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. John was born December 22, 1940 to John and Alyce Setzer in Bogota, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to all that knew and loved him.
John spent time in Texas and Iowa before finally settling down in Denver, Colorado. He was always good with his hands and found his career in working as a machinist for various companies. John never met a stranger and always had a practical joke up his sleeve. When he wasn't tinkering with machines, John could be found doing his other passion: playing bingo!
John is survived by his daughter Regina (Thomas) Graham; son, Jeffrey (Annette) Setzer; grandchildren, Jeannie and Steele Owens, Tommie and Ryan Tatro, Rebekah SetzerLeah and CJ Hinds, Adam Setzer, and David Setzer; and Great-grandchildren Summit Owens, Norah Owens, and Louella Owens.
He was proceed in death by his spouses, Donna Linsenmeyer (Iowa), Ann Morrelli (Denver), Marjorie Thomas (Denver) and parents John Calvin Setzer Sr. and Alyce Lucille Clevenger.
Services for John will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10:00 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, with a committal service to follow.
