Jon "Jeb" Edwin Benner

Jon died July 23, 2022, at the age of 85. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 24, 1937, to Edwin and Elizabeth Benner. He resided in Hawaii until he went to college at the University of Colorado. It is there he met his wife Carol Bartlett and married her on August 27th, 1960. They had a son Jon Edwin Benner Jr. who married Leslie Garrod and had a daughter Samantha. They also had a daughter Leslie Ann Benner who married James Patrick Wilson and had 2 sons Ryan Keith Wilson and Travis Aaron Wilson who is married to Maddison “Abi” Abigail Lockridge Wilson.

Jon spent his life with Carol exploring the United States he visited all 50 states. He also explored much of the world. He did this by travelling and being a Ham radio operator. He was a member of the Northglenn United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the fellowship of the men’s group, getaway gang camping group, card group and many other activities. His joy was his family and friends and sharing life with them all.
