Jose Eduardo Garcia

76, was born in George West, Texas on July 21, 1940. He passed away on October 10, 2016 at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Neomi of 56 years, son Michael, daughter Norma, brothers, Daniel and David and granddaughters Erika, Rebecca, Lilianna and countless others who loved him.

A devoted father of five and spiritual man who called Jesus his Buddy. He weathered all life had to offer with his wife Neomi by his side. She was his high school sweetheart, the Jane to his Tarzan, the companion on every adventure. A lifelong entrepreneur he built businesses in Colorado and Texas. He served his country in the Unites States Army and in the Texas Parks and Wildlife, as a Game Warden for many years. He was a man who endured the hardships of life, yet lived with joy and compassion. He unintentionally and naturally connected with all likes of life, and with God’s creatures while leaving a lasting impression and imprint of his legacy. He welcomed anyone he met into his home. His generosity was limitless and he loved to pick up the check whenever he could. His natural intelligence inspires and he possessed the ability to calmly overcome. He will continue to live on in the many lives he has touched. We can all find comfort in the knowledge that he will be welcomed by his daughters Becky and Irma, son Mark and his parents.

A visitation will take place the evening of Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm. There will be a funeral service to start at 2:00pm Saturday, October 15, 2016; a committal service with military honors will follow the funeral.
