Justin Randall Shepherd, 40, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2014, in Denver, CO. He was born in Memphis, TN on July 14, 1973. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brandy and his four beloved children, Piper, Abbey, Darby, and Kobe all of Denver, CO; his mother, Pamela Godsey, his father, Joseph Shepherd, his maternal grandmother, Betty Bramlett, all of Memphis, TN, and his sister, Jill Shepherd-Vladimir (Alex) of Laurel, MD.
Justin was the life of the party and everyone’s hero. He lived more in his 40 years than most do in 90. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. He was simply the coolest person ever and everyone wanted to be just like him. He will be remembered for his passion for music, biking, hiking and life, but mostly for his passion for his family. His wife & children were his everything. As long as he had them with him he felt like the luckiest man in the world. He would do anything for them and loved nothing more than spending time with them.
Justin was absolutely brilliant and could discuss most any subject with anyone. He was loud, larger-than-life, with a heart of gold. He was so funny you would laugh until you cried. He was loved by so many, both family and friends alike and he will be greatly missed. Our hearts are broken and we will always have a hole where he should be. He will forever be with us and we will keep his memory alive by continuing to share our wonderful memories of him with anyone who will listen.
Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, Thornton, CO.
