Katy Shizue Koshio, 90, born July 1921, passed away on November 2011 at her home. Katy was a home maker and retired bank book keeper. She was a member of the Fort Lupton Buddhist Temple and Japanese American Citizens League. Katy was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Koshio. She is survived by children Gordon (Barbara) Koshio, Lorraine Seeger, Melvin (Gail) Koshio, Dawn (Joshua) Koshio Gillespie, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sister Rogee (Ben) Kayashima, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Fort Lupton Buddhist Temple. Interment will follow the funeral at Hillside Cemetery, Fort Lupton. Donations can be made to the Fort Lupton Buddhist Temple in memory of Katy Koshio. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, Thornton, CO.
