On March 22, 2015, Larry entered into Heaven peacefully and humbly as he had lived his life here on Earth. He is survived by his loving sister, Valeria (Val) Jacobs, brother-in-law, Sheldon Jacobs, and his younger brother, George Porter. Larry’s nieces, Sandy (Jacobs) Hoffman, Judy (Jacobs) Lindsay and nephew, Joe Jacobs were very close and dear to him. Also properly indulged and cared for were his 10 great nieces and nephews plus his 12 great-great nieces and nephews. Larry’s new extended family was his friends and caretakers at Avamere Malley nursing home. Notable among these people who made his last days some of his happiest days in his life would be Dana (PT), Hazel (CNA), Joey(RN),Rachel (RN), Christine(LPN), Josie (LPN), Jennifer (LPN) Aubrione/Bree (CNA), Robin (CNA), Rosa(CNA), Curtis (CNA), and Jack.
Services will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery in Thornton, CO on March 30, 2015.
Viewing 10 am, Mass 11:00, Interment immediately following.
