

Lucille R. Roberts was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was born to Procopio and Trinidad Cordova on April 17, 1943 in Raton, New Mecixo. She attended Raton High School and excelled in her studies. She lived in Raton until she met the love her life at a dance in Yankee, NM in the summer of 1959, when he asked her for a bite of her hamburger. She gave him a bite.
They married in 1960 and then moved to Colorado where they had two children, Amalia and Matthew. Her legacy lives on with their four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her husband, Florencio Roberts; her sisters, Margaret Trujillo, Josie Salas, Rosie Trujillo and Tina Zamora; her neice, Margie Flores, her daughter-in-law, Dawn Roberts-Beech; her grandchildren, DeAndrea Palacios, Michael Griego,
Dustin Roberts and Destiny Woodruff; her great-grandchildren, Fabian, Rueben and Damian Palacios, and Natalee and Arilynn Roberts; along with many other relatives and friends.
Lucille was a loving and giving person. She supported her family and was always there for them. She was instrumental in the raising of her children, as well as the next generations. She will be greatly missed and treasured in the hearts of her loved ones.
