

Margaret was born in Denver, CO to Martin and Louise Reimer. She died peacefully after 95 years of a onderful life to be with her beloved husband Leo and the Lord. It was only 3 days after she attended the high school graduation of her great-grandson. Margaret moved from Thornton, CO to Walnut Creek, CA in 2001 to escape the snow and cold in CO to be near her daughter Sandy Mowrer (Russ) and family. She is also survived by her son Stan Farmer (Joan) of Commerce City, CO, five grandchildren; Denise Bjerke (Guy), Gwen Haley (Chris), Laura Thompson (Lance), Christian Farmer (Stephanie), Nicholas Farmer (Nicole), and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Ethel (Howard) Shannon. Margaret graduated in 1936 from South HS in Denver and married Leo in 1940. She was the first secretary for School District 12 in Adams County, CO and served 22 years. Margaret was a 70 year member of the Eastlake Congregation Church and a very faithful member of OES for 50+ years and served as secretary numerous years and as Worthy Matron. She enjoyed travel and visited all the states except Alaska. In accordance with her wishes she will be buried next to her beloved husband Leo and her mother Louise in CO. Services will be at the Olinger Highland Chapel in Thornton, CO June 10th at 10:00AM. Donations in her memory can be made to the Eastlake Congregational Church or the OES Home.
