Our last christmas with my mom. Love and miss her so much 😢 💗 💔

I miss you so much mommacita . Three years today you left us. I miss our small talks and your sweet smile.

Its been hard for me to find the words for this but then I realized I'd be searching forever for just the right thing to say.....
My family finally had the chance to lay my sweet grandmother to rest. After four months of silently grieving alone, we finally had the opportunity to be together as a family just like she always loved. It was one of the hardest days of my life, a day I had been dreading for so long. But even so, I found comfort in being surrounded by such a loving family and I am forever grateful for my wonderful kids who helped me find my strength that day. From Joseph holding my hand and hugging me during the services to my Pia girl crying with me at the cemetary, I couldn't have gotten through it without them both. 💗
A part of me almost feels like I lost her back in March,  when I got that call saying that the nursing homes were restricting visitors. That was the day my heart really broke, knowing how alone she must have felt in those final weeks. I hope she knows now that I would have been there with her if I could...but she always said anytime I told her I was coming to visit "God willing" and God must have known what he was doing even if we didn't understand.  He must have known she was tired and he knew how much she fought to stay with us for so long because her love for us all was that great! 
I am blessed to be a part of such an amazing family, that is the legacy she created. We are everything family should be.❤
 I will forever cherish our memories grandma and I promise I will always continue to celebrate you on our birthday.🍀🎂 Now go rest and enjoy your dancing in heaven. I'll love you forever, miss you always, and I thank God to have had the pleasure of being in your life for so many years. So until next time....you'll be in my heart to stay ❤ 

My Triple G , my grandma. What a blessing you were and I’m so glad growing up I spent precious time with you ! I’ll treasure all the moments we shared and all the conversations we had ❤️ You always mad me laugh and I always kept you laughing, I’ll always be your crazy loca Rocha ! Remember Triple G when you called me and didn’t give me a choice about taking you to the dance 💃🏽 you said pick me up at 7 and hung up the phone 😳 so I picked you up and we went to the dance 💃🏽 and the old man you wanted too dance with , came and asked me too dance... omg you were so mad ! Yet some how we laughed and laughed about it on the way to take you home 🏡 I love ❤️ you and I’ll miss you always ! Until we meet again ... dance my angel 😇 💃🏽 

Always and forever your Rocha 

My mom loved the flowers and the trees. When we went for a ride, she was always so amazed of how big and beautiful the trees were. Now she’s where the flowers never fade and the trees never die. 
Visiting my mom in the center was hard, but the hardest part was leaving her. One of the last clear words she said to me when I was leaving was “Take me with you.” I had to explain to her why I couldn’t take her. I broke my heart to leave her. 
Then last time I visited my mom was the night she passed away. I am at peace with my mom being gone, for I know she is with Jesus. She left all that loved her but she is not alone. She is with the loved ones that left before her, waiting for her with open arms. 
My mom didn’t like dogs or cats but I picture her up there with Charlie (Shanna’s dog) who passed the same day as mom did…chasing him, sitting next to him, loving him, and petting him.
Visiting with Richie, Maria, Celena, Stanley, my gramma and her sister and brothers, talking and laughing all at peace. 
Rest in heaven Mom. No more loneliness, sadness, no more pain. You’re at peace now with our almighty Father and his son. 
Rest in heaven Mom. I will forever love and miss you, till we meet again. 


I miss my momma so much. I miss laying beside her , her holding my hand and lifting it to her lips and kissing it. I miss the small talks we had as we laid there. I love you mom..forever in my broken heart.

I can never express the love I had for my grandma. One of my favorite memories is when we were at Boulder creek. Grandma and I were in a little air filled boat floating in a small water area.  Grandma of course had her beer with her. We got to close to a small water fall drop off and went down. I was so afraid my grandma was going to fall off the boat or we were going to tip but we landed that water fall and Grandma held tight to her beer.  We laughed so hard cause she was like " I still got my beer" as if that what she was worried about the entire time.  I love you Grandma ill miss you tremendously. Dance with those angels 😇 Grandma. Until we meet again. ❤💝

One of my first early memories  of grandma.   The first time she fixed atole.  We were not feeling well.    Grandma made atole,   this stuff is blue pure.  Now I love and trust grandma,  but this is BLUE!.   We ate it  because we had to.   Now it's one of my favorite things to eat.    The other fond memorie  was when we got her to do her  woody wood pecker imitation.  She would start,  us kids would start laughing, she would do it again.  We laughed harder.  We laughed so hard our cheeks hurt.    LOVE YOU ALWAYS GRANDMA!!

My love goes out too all my Denver Family My thought and prayers and with u  !!  They are laying to rest my  beautiful sister in law Margie today !! Two beautiful Angels in Heaven Brother and Sister !! I love you forever and ever !! RIP give your brother a great big hugs and lots of becos for me !! I miss him so very much !! We always had such a great time in Denver when we visited!! Love Cindy 🙏🏻❤️😢

Mom, you were always there for the birth of all my brats. Thank you!! Without you I wouldn’t be here, without me my children wouldn’t be here and without the four of them I wouldn’t have my 11 wonderful, beautiful and awesome grandchildren and great grandkids. Miss and love you lots always and forever❤️❤️❤️ Never will you be forgotten.

Heaven gained an incredible angel.  I love you, grandma! You are greatly missed!

My sweet,  Gma.  I miss you so much and think of you all the time.  Although I cant kiss or hug you or most of all, laugh with you, I know you are in a better place. And that gives me so much peace. Its hard to choose a favorite memory as any time spent with my grandma was always cherished. I'm thankful for all the birthdays spent with her and I'm so glad she was able to be a part of some of the best days of my life.  Like the time she waited and waited and waited in Albuquerque for my son to be born because she was so excited to meet him, she missed his arrival by only a few hours. And I'll be forever grateful to have had her be a part of my wedding day.  She made my day extra special by being there 💖  I'll love her forever and miss her so so much!

I only got to meet my great grandmother once. We were at the family reunion in Colorado. I took this photo of her and my dad, Gene Marquez. 
I did not know her well, but my heart is filled with love for her. We all have her to thanks for us being here today.

My favorite memory of her was her dancing at the reunion with a beer in her hand. She was so full of life and would never let anyone tell her what to do. She is a true queen.

We will all miss her.

Im so glad to have experience 5 generations in one room!!! I love you and miss you grandma
