

Marion Lee Holstine Jr., a faithful and generous man, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on October 19, 1934, in Kirk, Colorado, Marion was the beloved son of Marion Holstine Sr and Esther Holstine. He was a resident of Thornton, Colorado, at the time of his passing.
Marion attended Loveland High School, and soon after he proudly served in the United States Army, earning the Medal Expert Rifle for his exemplary service. After his military career, Marion retired from Mountain Bell and found joy in working as a handyman for Colorado Lighting and multiple real estate firms.
In 1961, Marion married Joyce in Denver, Colorado. They shared a life filled with love and happiness until Joyce's passing. Marion lived in several Colorado communities, including Kirk, Loveland, Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton. He is survived by his sons, Greg and Michael, and Michael's wife, Anita. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Isaiah and Annika.
Marion was a kind-hearted man with a passion for the Denver Broncos, baseball, and the Colorado Rockies. His community involvement was evident in his volunteering at churches and his willingness to lend a helping hand to his neighbors.
A funeral service to honor Marion's life will be held at Crossroads Church, located at 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, CO 80234, on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Reception to follow. The burial with Military Honors will take place at 1:00 pm at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
Marion lived a long life, overcoming many obstacles throughout his journey. He will be missed by all who knew him.
