

Marlene was born on December 8, 1944, to Florence La Chance (Wagenmaker) and Martin Donaldson in Detroit, Michigan. She was later adopted by Gerrit Wagenmaker. She joined two older sisters, Judy Blankenship and LauraLee Turknette. Marlene grew up in Commerce City, Colorado and graduated High School from Adams City High School in 1963. Marlene married Leo Briley and together they had two boys, Dean Briley and Troy Cramer. Marlene and Leo divorced, and Marlene met James Cramer. They were married and had a son, James Cramer II.
Marlene worked for the local phone company for decades and happily retired from there. Marlene loved Elvis Presley and was the President of the Elvis Fan Club based in Denver. She went to Memphis, Tennessee at least once a year to visit Graceland, Elvis’ home. She had an Elvis collection that was almost unmatched. Marlene met several people during all her trips to Memphis who loved Elvis like she did. Marlene enjoyed spending time with her friends and sister, Judy.
Marlene is preceded in death by her biological father, Martin Donaldson, her adoptive father, Gerrit Wagenmaker, her mother, Florence Wagenmaker and her son, Troy Cramer.
Marlene is survived by her sisters, Judy (Ralph) Blankenship and LauraLee (Ken) Turknette, her sons, James (Jennifer) Cramer II and Dean (Lanette) Briley and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
