Marvin Eugene Smith

Marvin was a light hearted, hardworking and loving man. He loved his wife Dorothy dearly and missed her every day since her passing in 2007. Marvin had an immense passion and love for the Lord. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Jefferson where he would fish, ride his motorcycle and relax. Marvin always had a great appreciation and desire for flowers and gardening; anyone who has seen his back yard knows that’s where he spent most of his retired years.

Marvin is survived by his son Timothy Smith, his daughter Kelly Hulbert, his grandsons Joseph Hulbert, Rocco Smith, Broc Smith, Connor Smith & Eli Hulbert, his granddaughters Alexandra Smith & Stacey Bennett, great-granddaughters Morgan Bennett & Kinsey Hulbert, great- grandsons Tattum Bennett, Tucker Hulbert, Krew Kenny, & Cayde Kenny.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Clinton & Alice Smith, his brothers Vern, Elmer & Clarence, his sister Maybel, his wife Dorothy Smith.

Funeral will be at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery at 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Graveside service will be immediately after the funeral at Olinger Highland Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at Northglenn United Church of Christ at 10500 Grant Dr., Northglenn, CO.
