Michael is survived by brother Patrick Murphy (Annette Murphy); niece Kayla Holiday, niece Tiffany Holiday, nephew Daniel Holiday and nephew Mitch Holiday (Tina Holiday).

Michael was preceded in death by mother Aileen Murphy and father Andrew Murphy; sister Joan Holiday; sister Mary Murphy and brother William Murphy.
