

Muriel "Babe" Vivian Taylor of Broomfield Colorado passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, in Brighton Colorado at the age of 81. Born on January 30, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, she lived a life filled with faith, family, and a deep passion for genealogy.
Muriel was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she remained active in her congregation until her passing. She found great joy in reading the scriptures and was often seen with her Book of Mormon and Bible in her hands, seeking wisdom and comfort within their pages. Her dedication to temple service and her selfless contributions to her church community left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
A woman of many talents and interests, Muriel had a profound love for genealogy. She spent countless hours researching family histories and preserving the legacies of those who came before her. Her meticulous work helped connect generations and provided invaluable records for her loved ones. In addition to genealogy, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and working with herbs. With her extensive knowledge of holistic medicine, she helped many people find relief from the physical ailments they struggled with. Her generosity in sharing this knowledge made her deeply cherished and loved among those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters Shannon (David) Thorpe and Shelby (Shane) Kelley; grandchildren Dennis Hamilton, Seth Hamilton, Katrina Hamilton, Alexander Katsaras, and Josie Scott; as well as her brothers Jerry Little and Mike Little. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dennis Taylor; parents Elsie and Goldman Little; sisters Sherry Dooley, Charlotte Wamsley, and Billie Lewis; and brother Charles "Tootie" Little.
A funeral service will be held on March 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1250 Main Street in Broomfield, Colorado. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery at 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado, at 2:00 PM.
Muriel’s legacy of faith, love for family history, and dedication to helping others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
