Olivia Rose Montoya, age 89, passed away on January 20, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Olivia was born in Las Sauces, Colorado to Ephriam & Salome Medina. She attended Alamosa High School and worked in Accounting for the State of Colorado.
Olivia was sweet, funny and loyal. She was a remarkable person. She was a combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and word search puzzles.
Olivia is survived by her siblings; Joe, Paul, David, Phil, Alex, Jimmy, Danny, and Rita; and her children; Sarah Maestas (Robert), Sheila Montoya (Roger Duran), and Sabrina Montoya (Joseph Apodaca).
She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Ronald Montoya (Deanna), Bradley Montoya (Maria), Roman Ortega (Daunine), Brooke Ortega, David Maestas, Michael Maestas, Alexis Lucero, Justin Montoya (Jayme), Joseph Quintana, Mercedes Montoya, Jenesee Montoya, Luis Albert Montoya II, Yvette Duran, all of Denver, CO; her Great Grandchildren; Bradley II, Mason, Miles, Romy, Sawyer, Wyatt, AnnaLisa, Chadaey, Jessiah, Chaelynn, Jacob, Elijah, Xavier and Julian; and Great Great Grandchildren; Mia, Ace, Antonio; along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Ephriam & Salome Medina; her Great Grand Daughter, Maliah and her sisters, Agnes Duran and Jane Shelton.
Olivia’s Service will be held on Thursday, February 1st at Guardian Angels Church, 1843 W. 52nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80221. A viewing will be held at 10 AM, Rosary will be held at 10:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:30AM. A Reception will follow at 1:30 PM at the City of Northglenn Recreation Center, 1 E Memorial Parkway, Northglenn, CO 80233.
