5/27/1928 – 12/17/2020
With great sadness, our family announces the passing of Pearl M. Lee on December 17th, 2020 in Northglenn, Colorado. She was the oldest daughter of George and Genevieve “Jean” Kahler. She had three brothers and two sisters. Her sister, Mary Martich survives her.
She is the proud Mom of three sons. Paul “Rusty”, Steve and Frank Lee. She was married to James Lee for 52 years.
Pearl leaves us with 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Her face lit up whenever she could spend time with them. The family get-togethers and barbecues won’t be the same without her.
Pearl grew up in Denver. Her early years were in a house on Broadway that her dad built. She had Polio as a child and used crutches for many years.
She loved sports! Pearl actively played and coached softball until her early 80’s. She also competed in the Senior Olympics and earned many medals. Pearl was active in the Northglenn Senior community and received several service awards from them. She also enjoyed working on many craft projects over the years.
We would like to thank Northglenn Heights Assisted Living and Especially, Sun Tree Hospice for their loving care during her final time with us.
A small private graveside service will be held on December 28th, 2020. A larger ceremony is planned for later in the year 2021.
