Penny Lynn Brock Graham

My mother was born In Louisville Kentucky. Her parents are named Marcella Kay Waddell and Alfred Wamon Brock Sr. They were 29 and 27 years old when they welcomed penny in to the world on July 13, 1972, a year and a week after her brother was born. My mother wasn’t about going to school but when she was able to, she got her GED. Penny didn’t have a fancy job, she worked at McDonald’s,which might I add she loved. From what I remember her telling me, she worked for the McDonalds company for around 30 years.

If you were to ask my mother about her accomplishments she would probably say “ raising her two daughters and them being in functioning condition.” She was always proud of her daughters Maryssa and Elizabeth, no matter what they did. Her hobbies was sowing and crafting. She would sow/make doll clothes for her and Elizabeth’s dolls. She would also craft furniture for the dolls. To sum up my mothers personality it would be “resting bitch face that is goofy, sarcastic, and doesn’t give 2 fucks.”

The family she left behind in the world is her brother Alfred Wamon Brock Jr (53) and her two daughters, Maryssa Lynn Martinez(25) and Elizabeth Kay Graham(20). Her family might of been small but she loved us dearly. The family she is joining in her passing is her mother Marcella Kay Waddell and father Alfred Wamon Brock Sr, After 11 years, she also gets to be with her other brother Roger Vance Jr.

Thank you for enjoying my mothers life with her. I’m sure she really enjoyed and appreciated everyone she came in contact with in her 52 years of life. But also thank you for being in her spontaneous, crazy, adventure filled life.

Three words to sum up her life:
