Raul Hernandez Ramirez

Raul was born July 12, 1936 in Pampa, Texas. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1954. Raul entered the Marines in 1955 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1961. He worked for the Pampa News, Amarillo Globe and Denver Post where he retired after 31 years.

Raul was a Golden Gloves boxer in his younger years and enjoyed bowling in tournaments. Raul enjoyed sports and was a devoted Denver Broncos Fan. He loved spending time with his children grand children and great-grand children.

He is survived by his sister Connie Diaz of Pampa, Texas, brother Rodolfo (Chico) Ramirez wife Liz of Pampa, Texas, sister Mary Lou Olivarez, and husband Fidel of Dalhart, Texas. His children are Cindy Albo husband Ron of Brush, Colorado, Roland Ramirez wife Marcie of Northglenn, Colorado, Fernando Ramirez wife Belinda of Aurora, Colorado, and Isabel Ramirez of Kansas City, Kansas, Jordan Ramirez of Northglenn, Colorado. He had 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death were his parents Leopoldo and Santos Ramirez, sister Elvira Guerra of Pampa, Texas.
